Virginia Baird Martin Ward
Virginia Baird Martin Ward, age 79 of the Boxelder Community,
died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in ETMC Clarksville.
She was born in Red River Co. on September 10, 1928 to John Vernon and Eula Lumpkin
Baird. She was of the Baptist faith.
Her first husband, J.W. Martin, four brothers and 2 sisters precede her in death.
Services will be Saturday, March 15, at 10:30 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville
Funeral Home with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Boxelder
Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Visitation will be
Friday night from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Pallbearers are, James Harold
McLeroy, William Peacock, Jr. Baird, Rickey Baird, Jonathan Baird, Morris Wayne
Jeans, Barney Paul Luke, and Charlie Ward.
Survivors include her husband Darrell Ward of Boxelder; several nieces and nephews
including Venita McLeroy and husband Harold of Annona, Roger Baird and wife Deadra
Baird of Boxelder; one sister, Kathrine Maroney of Boxelder.
