Mamie Jordan
Mamie Jordan, age 83 of Clarksville, TX died Friday, March 07, 2008 in Dubuis Hospital, Paris.
She was born in the Blakeney Community of Red River Co, TX on May 15, 1924 to Mack and Ollie Lackey Gallander. She was retired from the Red River Army Depot, was of the Baptist Faith, loved her family, fishing and her little red dog.
Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by a son, Howard Wayne Jordan; sisters, Josephine Jordan and Edna Earl Leverett.
Services will be Monday, March 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Keister officiating. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Tommy and Dwayne Leverett, Larry Gardner, Jacob King, Drew Perkins and Jerry Conway. Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Nolen, John Thompson and Mark Nolen. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband Howard Jordan of Clarksville; daughter Debra Nolen of Clarksville; grandchildren, Michelle Ervin, Gary Nolen, Chesley Jordan and Emily Jordan; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mickey Miller of Paris, Juanita Hasenak of Clarksville and Lorene Baugh of Ft. Worth; brothers, Joe Mack Gallander of Monohans and Donald Gallander of Saltillo.
