Patsy Johnson Rose
Patsy Johnson Rose, age 60 of the Negley Community, passed from this earth
to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, in Christus St. Michaels
Hospital, Texarkana.
She was born to Jessie and Ella Kuykendall Johnson on June 4, 1947 in Idabel,
OK. She retired from Moore Supply Company, and was of the Baptist faith. Patsy
loved her family, always saw the best in others, was an excellent cook, and took
pride in her flower beds.
Her father and a brother, Donald Johnson preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Sam Rose of the Negley Community; her mother,
Ella Johnson of Idabel; step-children, Tray Rose and wife Jamie of Clarksville,
Shannon Carson and husband Jimmy of the Negley Community; step-grandchildren,
Breann and Zack Rose of Clarksville, Chip Smith of Clarksville, Tiffany Nelson
of Kilgore; brothers, Wesley Johnson and wife Sue of Idabel, Jessie Johnson and
wife Debbie of Idabel, Billy Johnson and wife Cindy of Idabel, Robert Johnson
of Idabel; sisters, Joyce Peters of Idabel, Mary Crank and husband Jim of Princeton,
Sandy Harkey and husband Troy of Covington, IN; numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Thursday, February 21 at 11:00 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville
Funeral Home with the Rev.’s Troy Harkey and Kent House officiating. Visitation
is Wednesday night from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will
follow in New Haven Cemetery, under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
