Lucy Mae Parker Franks, age 91, of Clarksville, TX, died Thursday
February 14, 2008 in Regency Nursing Center.
Services will be Sunday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville
Funeral Home with the Rev. B.G. Bowden officiating. Burial follows in Aikin
Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was born December 30, 1916, in Gilliam, AR, to Thomas Jefferson and Stella
Blaylock Parker. She loved quilting and was a member of the Temple Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Houston Franks; a son, Travis
Wayne Franks.
Survivors include 2 son’s, Robert E. Franks and wife Luanne of Garland, TX, Dennis
Franks and wife Dolores of Kilgore, TX; 2 daughters, Eva Gibson and husband,
Emmett of Annona, TX, Lettie Joann Seiber and husband, Robert of Blossom, TX;
Numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.; half sister, Izola
Owens of Arizona.
