Katharine Latimer Cowan
Katharine Latimer Cowan, 95 of Heath, entered into the presence
of her Heavenly Father on February12, 2008.
Services are Friday, February 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville
Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Madras Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Clarksville
Funeral Home.
Katharine was born September 30, 1912 in Clarksville to A.D. and Kate Fulton
Latimer. Her love of her family and her servant’s heart will be missed by those
who knew her. She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Katharine was preceded in death by her husband, Jim M. Cowan; 4 brothers, Fulton,
William, Corley and James Latimer.
Survivors include a son, Dick Cowan and wife Jill of Cedar Hill; a daughter,
Linda Kay Scott and husband Doug of Heath; grandchildren, Paul Scott and wife
Janice, Cindy Loy and husband Alan, both of Rockwall, Katie Cowan of Lubbock,
Kyle Cowan of Cedar Hill and Corley Cowan and wife Audrea of Lewisville; great-grandchildren,
Scott and Lindsay Loy, Sam and Kaitlynn Scott, Kennedy Cowan.
