Joseph N. Walsh, 75 of Clarksville, died Tuesday, February
5 in Paris Regional Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9 in Lindeman Chapel
of Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Cindy Baker officiating. Visitation
is from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will
be in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Honorary
Pallbearers are, Frank Faulkner, James Faulkner, Jack Holt, Rev. Sam Rice, Casey
York and Bobby Brannen.
Mr. Walsh was born May 24, 1932, in Luzerne, NY, a son of Harold and Elinor Foder
Walsh. He loved to follow NASCAR and served in the U.S. Air Force during the
Korean War Era and was a member of the Pine Grove Presbyterian Church. He was
preceded in death by a son, Robert Walsh.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Willard Walsh of Clarksville. They were
married in Essex Junction, Vermont in 1954; 3 sons, Max and wife Alice Marr Walsh
of Detroit, TX., Dwain and wife Ella Baird Walsh of Hubbardton, VT., Scott Walsh
of Arlington, VT; 2 daughters, Michelle Ennis of Fair Haven VT., and Linda Naaktgeboren
and husband Andrew of Arlington, VT.; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren;
1 sister-in-law, Ruth Redhead of Minneapolis, MN.
