Danny Joe Welch
Danny Joe Welch, age 57, of Blossom, Texas, died Thursday, January 24, 2008.
Danny was a truck driver for Thomason Trucking in Broken Bow. He was born in
Clarksville, Texas, on May 6, 1950, the son of Bill and Catherine Miller Welch.
Danny loved hunting and fishing, and was a kind and generous person that would
give you the shirt off his back. He was preceded in death by his father.
Services are Monday, January 28 at 10:30 a.m. in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville
Funeral Home with the Rev. David Gillean and Rev. Jim Millsap officiating. Visitation
will be Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers are
Doyle Beers, Greg Austin, Sammy Austin, Junior Wear, Curtis Wear, Stacy Pelton
and Jerry Welch. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction
of Clarksville Funeral Home.
Survivors include: his wife, Norma Welch of Blossom, Texas; his mother, Catherine Welch of Clarksville, Texas; son Bryan Welch of Clarksville, Texas; daughter Angie Formby of Texarkana, Arkansas; two step-sons, Junior Wear of McKinney, Texas, and Curtis Wear of Dallas, Texas; sister Debbie Austin and husband Sammy of Clarksville, Texas; brother Gary Welch and wife Pat of Keller, Texas; nephew Greg Austin and two nieces Jaclyn and Andrea Welch.
