Obituary:
Mary Sue Moore Aikin, age 82, of Clarksville, passed away, Tuesday, September 27, 2011, at Legends Healthcare Center in Paris.

Mrs. Aikin was born March 27, 1929, in Avery to Hugh and Ruby Bearden Moore. She was employed for many years at First National, Citizens and Red River Banks. She married J.C. Aikin on April 10, 1948, in Clarksville. He preceded her in death on January 3, 2006.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Avery Cemetery with Rev. Don Shovan and Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

Survivors include a niece, Brenda Hays and husband, Gary of Clarksville; a nephew, Larry Roberts; 5 sisters-in-law, Marie Moore, Bobby Morgan, Margaret Aikin, Dorothy Bain and Floy Webb; 2 brothers-in-law, James Bain and Geral Webb; and several cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Avery Cemetery Association at P.O. Box 268, Avery, Texas, 75554.

I am saddened to hear of Sue's passing. I knew her during her banking career and we got started in ceramics as well. A wonderfully nice lady. I have missed seeing and talking with her. The best to you all.
