I am so saddened, and unforgiving of myself for not going to see Velma on a regular basis. My only excuse is, that it was so hard to go there after having several loved ones die who were there for awhile and it was their home away from home. It was just so hard to make myself go anymore and for this I am so sorry. Velma was a lovely lady and a true friend. I loved her dearly and we all thought a lot of her. God Bless and love to you all.

Loved the picture. Enjoyed my days working with Velma and then later I was a home health nurse for Cypress or Magnolia Home health and would see her at her home. Always had a smile and so nice to work with.

I didn't know Velma well, but she was my nurse during my first childbirth experience and even stayed an extra shift to be with me during delivery. Her kindness really touched me as she was a great comfort through what was a pretty scary experience for me. For this I've always had a special place for her in my heart.
